Having recorded one of the industry’s most eagerly anticipated new
albums, Guillemots return with three must-see live shows for March.

Lionel, who is Nicole's adoptive father, said: "While it may take me a
moment to adjust to being called granddad, I am extremely happy and
proud of Nicole and Joel."

Lionel also gushed his new
granddaughter, who Nicole and Good Charlotte frontman Joel have named
Harlow Winter Kate Madden, was surrounded by love when she entered the
world.

He added: "Harlow Winter Kate Madden, the newest and
most beautiful addition to the Richie clan, is a lucky little girl.
"She was surrounded by a great deal of love at that hospital as she
entered the world. Nicole and Joel are going to be wonderful parents."

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman



Singer Christina Aguilera has given birth to a boy.







"Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman are proud to announce
the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman," a brief message stated on
her website.

"He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy."

The baby was born Saturday night and weighs 6lbs 2oz. Ms Aguilera, 27, was "resting and doing well," according to the website.

In
a message she posted on her site, Ms Aguilera called Saturday "a very
joyful and special day" for herself and her husband, a music executive.


The couple married in 2005. The four-time Grammy Award winning
singer has said she learned she was pregnant while on her recent "Back
to Basics" tour.

The troubled singer - who lost all visitation rights to her two
young sons last week after she was hospitalised following a stand-off
with police when she refused to hand them back to ex-husband Kevin
Federline -insists she would rather than die than be put into hospital
by her parents, Jamie and Lynne.

Fallin'' singer Alicia was given the Entertainment Award

Fallin'' singer Alicia was given the Entertainment Award, at the glitzy
ceremony held at Washington's Warner Theatre, but said she still can't
believe she gets paid to do what she loves.

She said: "For me,
I'm just a girl from Harlem, and here I am. It's a tremendous feeling
to do what you love and for people to love what you do.

"People are honouring me for doing what my heart tells me to do, and that is so fulfilling."

star John Legend was in the audience at the Warner Theatre in
Washington when Alicia was awarded with the accolade, and said he
couldn't think of a more deserving candidate.

He said: "Alicia
has had exceptional success in her career. She carries herself with
such dignity and grace, and her charitable work is also really
exceptional. I think she's a great entertainer and a great citizen of
the world."

America's Next Top Model' presenter Tyra Banks

America's Next Top Model' presenter Tyra Banks was given the Media
Award, and said she was "touched" to have been recognised for her work.

Tyra
also paid tribute to Richard Parsons, the Time Warner Board chairman
who was given the Corporate Citizen Award, for being such a positive
influence in the entertainment industry.

She said: "To have a
black man have that much power in the entertainment industry and in
publications and radio and television - it's otherworldly."

While
Michael Jackson pulled out of his scheduled appearance at the ceremony,
singing legend Stevie Wonder, Wyclef Jean, Gladys Knight, Brian
McKnight, Jill Scott and Raheem DeVaughn all performed.

BET -
which focuses on providing entertainment for young, black adults - held
the ceremony in celebration of "black achievement in business,
entertainment, social justice and philanthropy".

The event will be broadcast in the US on February 22.
